Medical Lab Technician

We require the services of a medical laboratory technician for immediate employment in our medical facility located in Onitsha, Anambra state.

Key Responsibilities

• Collect, prepare and test blood samples
• Maintain, calibrate, clean and ensure sterility of all lab equipment
• Analyze the chemical content of fluids
• Accurately label, sort and log specimens
• Keep work surfaces clean and orderly
• Accurately report test results for patient diagnosis and treatment
• Other tasks and duties as deemed necessary by the organization

Requirements

• Graduate of Medical Laboratory Science or similar discipline
• Possess at least one year working experience as a medical laboratory technician
• Must be computer literate
• Meticulous with great attention to detail
• Good teamworking skills
• Ability to multi-task effectively
• Must be polite, smart and neat
• Good verbal communication and interpersonal skills
