Accounts Clerk
We are looking for a skilled Accounts Clerk to perform a variety of accounting, bookkeeping and financial tasks in our organization
Key Responsibilities
- Provide accounting and clerical support to the accounting department
- Type accurately, prepare and maintain accounting documents and records
- Prepare bank deposits, general ledger postings and statements
- Reconcile accounts in a timely manner
- Daily enter key data of financial transactions in database
- Provide assistance and support to company personnel
- Research, track and restore accounting or documentation problems and discrepancies
- Compile reports/summaries on activity areas
- Function in accordance with established standards, procedures and applicable laws
- Other tasks and duties as deemed necessary by the organization
Requirements
- Must have minimum of HND or BSc degree in Accounting or similar discipline
- Possess at least one year working experience posting and reconciling general ledger
- Must be computer literate
- Aptitude for numbers, Accuracy and Attention to detail
- Ability to multi-task effectively
- Must be polite, smart and neat
- Good verbal communication and interpersonal skills
